On behalf of the Mississippi Sound Estuary Program (MSEP), we are pleased to present our inaugural Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP). This document represents the collective efforts of the MSEP Management Conference, staff, and their associated networks to identify priority actions needed to improve stewardship of the Mississippi Sound and its connected watersheds.

The importance of this inaugural CCMP cannot be overstated as it was a response to a need for more comprehensive conservation and restoration planning and is the first of these types of efforts focused on the Mississippi Sound. The goal of this document is to serve as a roadmap for impactful conservation and restoration efforts across the MSEP coverage area.
