Depredation has become a topic of significant concern worldwide, including the Gulf of Mexico reef fish fishery.
Given escalating depredation in this fishery, stakeholders have requested that resource managers take action; however, a comprehensive characterization of the issue has been lacking.
project Goals
We aimed to co-produce a shared characterization of the impacts of depredation in the Gulf of Mexico reef fish fishery to inform future depredation quantification and mitigation efforts.
